The Fares Center will host a talk and Q&A on Mass Starvation and Repercussions of the ICJ’s Provisional Measures Order on Gaza this coming Wednesday. The talk's title has been updated in light of the provisional measures order issued by the ICJ last Friday concerning the situation in Gaza.

Professors Alex de Waal, Executive Director of the World Peace Foundation, and Tom Dannenbaum, Associate Professor of International Law, will discuss the use of mass starvation as a war strategy, using the ICJ decision as the foundation of their discussion. While Gaza will be the core focus, they will also touch on other situations such as Ethiopia, The Sudan, Yemen or Syria.
