7th Annual two-day-long Conference on Gender and International Affairs (CGIA)! November 19-20, 2021 at the Fletcher School
(Website: https://sites.tufts.edu/genderconference/)

CGIA strives to create a platform for academics, practitioners, and community leaders to come together to discuss how gender affects and is affected by today's global issues. Going into its 7th year, CGIA continues the tradition of student and faculty advocacy at Fletcher to integrate gender analyses into our work.

This year's theme, Radical Optimism: Transforming Positivity into Power, will highlight how optimism can be wielded as a formidable tool to bring about change and action on a global scale.

Panels and Workshops:
- Queer Perspectives in International Relations
- Gender-Based Violence: preventing, healing, and accessing justice
- Bringing feminism into International Relations: a road to optimism
- Feminist Economics and Informal Labor Markets
- Moving from toxic to healthy masculinities
